SO MANY NEARBY ATTRACTIONS! One of the best-kept secrets in New Mexico is located only 36 miles from us. Sitting Bull Falls, tucked away in a small box canyon, is a wonderful day trip. A beautiful green space, with rock grotto picnic areas. Ideal for families and dog-friendly. $5.00 per carload. Wading in the pools, above and below the Falls is allowed. Open 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with incoming gates closing 30 minutes prior to area closing. The nearest gas station is 25 miles away, so be sure you have fuel before heading out for the day.
